How to Get Gems in Cameraman Tower Defense

The documented quest route opens after 20 wins and awards five gems per quest. In Vaulted Values X’s October 12 acquisition guide, the board has four quests, worth 20 gems altogether. Gems are then used for the Spider Crate. These are dated creator reports, not a claim that this wiki collected the rewards in the current game.

Coins, cash and gems
Resource Use in the cited October guides Do not confuse it with
Coins Lobby Basic Crate summons Cash earned and spent inside a match
Match cash Placing and upgrading defenders during a run A permanent gem balance
Gems Spider Crate pulls The Coins reported for the three listed codes

The reported codes award Coins. A video title mentioning Coins and Gems does not by itself establish a gem reward. This page follows the specific quest account in the acquisition guide, 5:55 onward.

Unlock and complete the quest route

  1. Reach 20 wins. If the quest board remains locked and your win total is below that threshold, more currency spending is not the stated unlock condition. Work on a repeatable match clear using the beginner guide.
  2. Read the unlocked board before starting the next run. The creator describes four simultaneous objectives, with examples including a Hard-mode clear or a clear using one slot. Follow the exact wording on your board; those examples are not a guarantee of today’s objectives.
  3. Build around the selected objective. A restriction such as one slot changes your loadout choice. Do not assume an ordinary unrestricted win will satisfy it. Check unit roles before replacing your loadout.
  4. Complete the stated condition, then return to the quest board. Check its completion/reward state and your gem balance. The report says five gems per completed quest, but does not establish the current reward-button wording. If the board exposes a collection control, follow that control rather than looking for an invented button name from a guide.

A completed four-quest board is 4 × 5 = 20 gems under this report. If an objective does not register, re-read its difficulty and loadout restrictions before repeating the same run. A match win and a quest completion are different conditions.

Spend gems on the Spider Crate

The same recording reports 100 gems for one pull or 1,000 for ten. There is no bulk discount at those prices. Five fully rewarded boards would therefore fund one pull, assuming you start at zero and the reported rewards remain unchanged.

Spend gems on the Spider Crate
Spider Crate unit Reported chance per pull What that means
Speaker Spider 90% Most pulls in the reported distribution
Camera Spider 9.8% Less common; roughly 10.2 pulls on average
TV Spider 0.2% Roughly 500 pulls on average

All three chances, together with the 100-gem single and 1,000-gem ten-pull prices, are visible in the acquisition recording’s Spider Crate panel at 6:17. The probabilities describe that reported crate, not a guaranteed sequence.

At 100 gems a pull, the TV Spider average is 50,000 gems. This is an expectation, not a pity threshold or a promise that pull 500 awards it. Check the crate’s live displayed odds before spending, especially if a boost or update is active. For combat differences, read the Spider reference and the TV Spider range correction.

Reset times and other reward claims

The cited primary account supports the unlock, four objectives and five-gem reward. It does not establish a reset schedule, a 40-gem daily cap, gem transfer rules or every possible gem source. Plan around the objectives and timer actually shown on your board instead of treating an unsupported daily total as a guaranteed income.

This also keeps the advice practical: a reported gem source with an unmet prerequisite is not immediately available to a new account. Reach the quest threshold, confirm the board’s conditions, then check that its rewards arrive before budgeting for a rare pull.

Source scope

The unit-acquisition recording is by Vaulted Values X, dated October 12, 2026, and describes data from before the Halloween update. Selected original-player frames were inspected: the quest-board illustration at 6:01–6:08 shows four five-gem objectives and a 20-win unlock annotation; the 6:17 crate panel shows the reported prices and odds. This does not establish a completed reward collection by this wiki. No gem purchase or quest payout was tested in-game.
